For Beginners

Thursdays 6:00-7:00pm

Beginners: Fundamental comprehensive technique and an exploration of fiesta styles of Flamenco.

Mondays 6:00-7:30pm

Beginner 2s & Lower Intermediate: Dancers with previous dance experience or 1 year of total beginners can enjoy this step up level. With higher leveled technique than and coordination exercises and fiesta choreography this class is designed to bridge beginners into developing more complex abilities.

Tuesdays 6:00-6:30pm

Elements Class: Castanets

A class to develop knowledge and technique to dance with Flamenco castanets with a focus on Seguiriyas

Wednesday 6:30 - 7:30pm

Bata de Cola Technique and Choreography

An opportunity to build and perform a choreography for dancers who have experience in dancing with bata de cola (tail dress)

Tuesdays and other times

Cajón Technique and Accompaniment

Join Roger Gonzalez and Roshanne WIjeyeratne for classes in palmas and cajón. Learn funky rhythms and learn how to accompany in an musical ensemble. These classes are only on selected dates to be released shortly.

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm

Flamenco Songs and Palmas Class

Develop your Flamenco song repertoire, palmas, compas, and learn the structure of Flamenco singing. Flamenco dance is based on the knowledge of Flamenco song structures, so this is in invaluable class for all Flamenco dancers.

Intermediate Classes

Wednesday 7:30 -9:00pm

OPEN Technique class and Fiesta Choreography: A comprehesive technique class for all intermediate levels (others are welcome to come for a dance) with a focus on fiesta choreography.

Tuesdays 7:30pm-9:00pm

Intermediate Technique and Tarantos: Comprehensive Technique for intermediate levels focusing on footwork, turns, arms, hands and rhythmic development with a focus on Tarantos choreography.

Advanced and Professional Classes

Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm

Advanced Bridging: Please inquire before attending. Comprehensive and intense technique for dancers ready to bridge into advanced levels with a focus on Solea.

Mondays 7:30-8:00pm

Advanced Manton: Please inquire before attending. For upper advanced, aspiring professionals and professional dancers.

Mondays 8:00-9:00pm

Advanced Comprehensive Technique: Please inquire before attending. Comprehensive technique for upper advanced, aspiring professionals and professional dancers.

Mondays 9:00-9:30pm

Advanced Alegrias: A company choreography for the advanced dancers of Alma Flamenca to work and perform professionally.

Saturdays 2-4pm
