Renowned for his mesmerising stage presence, rhythmic mastery, and explosive energy, Juan Aguirre leads an unforgettable night of dance and music. He is joined by the fierce and captivating Roshanne Wijeyeratne with her award-winning dance company, Compañía Alma Flamenca, and their live music ensemble featuring Roger Gonzalez on percussion alongside special guest singer Zoe Velez (Sydney) and Kieren Ray (Melbourne) on guitar.

Drawing Motion
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Flamenco art Saturday 30 November. Compañía Alma Flamenca premieres their new artistic work, Drawing Motion, at Marryatville Forge Theatre.
6PM Indulge in a Flamenco-inspired exhibition of Fine Arts by Alena Sataeva and Photography by David Xiberras, wander the gardens of Marryatville High School, move in and out the exhibition space, catch up with friends. The bar will be open for you to purchase your choice of champagne, red wine or white wine and revel in the artistry.
7PM Move into the theatre and be dazzled by a live Flamenco show featuring Compañía Alma Flamenca dancers Adriana Morales, Sugika Nishiue, Natalie Quici, and Lisa Vertue, with soloist, Roshanne De Silva Wijeyeratne, and a musical ensemble that will blow you away: Sydney’s Zoe Vèlez (song), Melbourne’s Kieren Ray (guitar), Roger González (percussion) and Paul Hilton on grand piano.

Passionate, exhilarating and visceral! Ida y Vuelta is an international collaboration presenting live Flamenco music, song and dance celebrating its mosaic of cultural connections, from subcontinental Indian roots to contemporary Latin American influences.
Directed by international Flamenco dancer Roshanne Wijeyeratne (SPAIN/ADL), the Alma Flamenca Performance Company are joined by special guest artists award winning Flamenco dancer Chachy Peñalver (VEN/SYD), and Flamenco singer Zoe Velez (SYD).
Australian Flamenco artists Alain Valodze and Adrian van Nunen are joined by guitarist Paco Lara (SPAIN) with Indian tabla virtuoso, Jay Dabgar (IND/MEL).
